Self-fusing bands are made of specially formulated silicone that fuse together when stretched & wrapped under tension. It permanently bonds to only itself, leaving no residue. How it works.

Unlike Slip-On Caps that stretch to grip your heel, these caps are made of extra-hard, heavy-duty rubber material. The self-fusing band wraps around the cap & heel to create an instant seal to fasten them together. Because the band leaves no residue, it's safe on your heels.

The cap is similar in size to a standard heel tip. It will increase the height of your heel by about 3 mm.

No. Unlike all other DIY replacement heel tips, no tools or glue are required. QUICK TIPS^® Caps attach over the existing worn-down tip, eliminating the need for tools. Each pack includes heel caps and self-fusing bands. The self-fusing band is applied around the cap & heel to fasten them together.

Stretching activates the fusing properties. Stretch the band at least 3x its length while wrapping to ensure proper fusing and a strong bond.

Note: Liquids, lotions, and oils prevent the band from self-fusing. Before applying, make sure both shoes and hands are dry and free of any debris, lotion, and oils.

QUICK TIPS^® Cap & Wrap are designed to be a semi-permanent solution when applied properly. If your cap falls off within only a few days, follow these tips when reapplying to ensure the cap stays on your heel.

We don't recommend it, because super glue doesn't work on high-friction areas like a heel tip. Although super glue is great at resisting direct pulling, it's weak at side push and pulls. The walking motion is naturally angled, and sidewalks and other walking surfaces are full of little bumps that cause super glue bond to loosen & crack. Super glues work best where there is no movement or stress.

The band leaves no residue, so removing QUICK TIPS® Cap & Wrap is easy. Carefully slice the band with scissors and peel the band off. To avoid cutting the heel fabric, only slice the band where it overlaps the cap.

STOPPERS are reusable and made of a strong, tear-resistant rubber for maximum durability. Its sturdy base is highly resistant to warping & puncturing from the heel.

For longest-lasting wear, remove STOPPERS after use (when storing your shoes) to prevent it from stretching out.
