Busy Bride Tip #4: Groomsmen Suit & Tie
Zara, Approx. $270
Let me start by saying this isn’t my area of expertise, but both my fiancé and I knew we wanted to go with suits over tuxedos. Unfortunately, we discovered that very few places rent suits and if they did, the styles were outdated or pricier than we anticipated. We wanted a modern suit priced under $300 that, like our bridesmaids, would allow the groomsmen to wear again. At Zara, we found exactly what we were looking for: a slim fit, midnight blue suit that flattered all the groomsmen. (They had to get it tailored but that’s standard for men’s suits.) Of course the quality can’t rival European custom-made suits but the cut was impeccable after tailoring. Most importantly, our groomsmen were comfortable and looked sharp on the day of our wedding (they also seemed to welcome all the compliments throughout the day too!)
The Tie Bar, $15
Men: Get your ties here! This is a one-stop shop for ties, bow ties, pocket squares, cufflinks, etc. They have every type of tie in a vast selection of colors. The best part? Everything is only $15, each. We got skinny ties and pocket squares for the groom and each groomsman. My only regret was not shopping here first! After hunting for ties at department stores and other retailers, we were dejected by the limited selections, so to us, Tie Bar was a Godsend!
